Directly off of US Highway 54, across from Buffalo Wild Wings, is V.I.P. Black Belt Champions, a full service martial arts training center run by Master Instructor Shidoshi Louis Hurtado, a 6th Degree Black Belt.  In fact, not only does he hold such high accolades in martial arts but is a retired New York City police officer, former private investigator and was even a bodyguard for several celebrities.

But Hurtado isn’t the only Black Belt at V.I.P.; all of their instructors are all certified Black Belts with years of experience and each class they teach has a specific emphasis on the success of their students.  Several classes are designed and geared toward specific age groups and adults can sign up for self defense training with Kickboxing and Grappling, get a fantastic work out in with the Cardio Fit class or can strive toward obtaining their Black Belt.

When John and Jennifer moved to Trinity 14 years ago, there wasn't much here but, to look at the area then, you wouldn't have even imagined the explosive growth we've seen.  With over 400,000 people in a 10 mile radius of Trinity, it's safe to say there are plenty of families and that means kids, kids and more kids.

Their products include plush toys, personalized children's books, novelty items, and inflatable play equipment.  With two children of their own, they soon realized how much fun children could actually have with the various large inflatables.

Local business owner Joyce Moore knows more than a little bit about animals and their behavior.  Having owned a farm in upstate New York, she’s cultivated her love of animals into a way to help them, and their owners, be the best they can. 

With two locations in New Port Richey and Port Richey, Joyce runs Joyce Moore Dog Training, a positive reinforcement training program for dogs and their owners.  No harsh methods are used on your pet when Joyce works with them; as she says herself, “I treat every dog as if it were my own.”  She says she was born an animal lover with a special place in her heart for dogs. Worried that too many animals end up in shelters because of unwanted behaviors, and hoping to prevent this from happening, Joyce started the training program to help owners understand their pets.
